Virginia Carolyn Belcher "Lyn" is the daughter of Mrs. Edward Hamilton of Atherton and the late Frank Belcher and is a stu-dent at Santa Catalina School for Girls. Annette Boushey Brig. C. Julian Bartlett and Mrs. Bartlett announced the engagement of his daughter Olivia Mun-son Bartlett, to Rev. Court-ny Lynn Carpenter Saturday at a reception in their Presidio Terrace home. Born in New Orleans, the bride-elect has lived here since her father bocame Dean of Grace Cathedral in 1956. Her mother wis the late Jeannette Limerick Bartlett. Olivia was graduated from Miss Hamlin's School and Pine Manor Junior College, Wellesley, Mass. She has a sister, Mrs. Michael D. Devine (Jeanne Barlett) of Newport Beach, and a brother, Aubrey Bartlett II of New Orleans.
